We’re so excited you’ve found your way to our little corner of the internet - a space dedicated to celebrating the love, health, and happiness of dogs everywhere.
At the heart of it all are Hugo, our cheeky, handsome blue tan boy who never misses a chance to strike a pose, and Heidi, our sweet, sensitive strawberry fawn girl with a heart of gold and the softest snuggles you can imagine.
Our journey as dog parents has been full of joy, challenges, and everything in between. When we first welcomed Hugo and Heidi into our lives, we had no idea just how much these two wrinkly, wiggly souls would teach us. I'm sure, if you own a pet, you can relate!
They’ve been our inspiration every step of the way - pushing us to learn, grow, and do whatever it takes to give them the happiest, healthiest lives possible.
One of the biggest turning points for us was when Heidi was diagnosed with multiple severe allergies - to pork, beef, rice, soy, dust, and even grass. We were heartbroken when vets told us she’d struggle and be in pain for life. They suggested we put her on steroid treatment, but I refused - that wasn’t an option for us, we knew there must be a better way to help her. Vets are like doctors these days - they look for an easy fix rather than digging deeper into the nutrition, diet, environment etc. We made it our mission to figure it out - researching, testing, trying everything we could - and together, we’ve built a lifestyle that keeps Heidi thriving (and Hugo too, of course!).
And now, we want to share it all with you.
This blog is packed with everything we’ve learned - from allergy-friendly food recipes that even picky pups will love, to health tips, boredom-busting activities, and the absolute best toys and accessories (Hugo and Heidi-approved, naturally). And some incredible pet-sitting solutions!!!
